About

I’m a self taught local Alaskan artist born and raised here in Anchorage, Alaska. I started painting in early 2014 after an artistic friend of mine left me some great art supplies before moving state. Overworked and suddenly inspired, I poured myself a glass of wine, painted my first canvas and instantly fell in love with the power of art.

My paintings are all inspired by Alaska, especially the Girdwood area and the Seward Highway along the way. I like to use bold colors and striking contrasts to give my artwork a vibrant and exciting interpretation of Alaska. Snowboarding, skiing, snowmachining, frozen waterfalls, and sunsets along the Turnagain arm are only a few of the Alaskan treasures that I love capturing with my artwork.
